Builth Wells Medical Practice Reception

Re design the Reception and Waiting areas at Builth Wells Medical Practice, 2007.

The Design of the new curved reception desk was key to make patients feel welcome on arrival, important for inclusive design with a section low level of desk as well as this being a place for patients to be able to talk with discretion. Another issue was ensuring the safety of the staff, with a wide high desk. The design opened up the interior of the reception to have a double height space which makes the Reception feel spacious.
The Colour Scheme played a big role in this project, using uplifting and happy colours in both the waiting area and reception.

The Waiting Area was re-designed to have individual seats, and coloured wall panels, with a childrens’ area.
